My interest in photography started while in grade school. My neighbor allowed me to use his darkroom where I could make camera and film come alive. The first camera I owned was a Kodak brand which used 620 size film. Sixty years later the magic of photography still intrigues me.
I grew up in a small town near Bloomington, Illinois and attended Illinois State University majoring in business. Working for Dunn & Bradstreet and later The Credit Bureau of Benton Harbor and St. Joseph for forty years. Recently I retired so I can now pursue my passion - photography.
I've attended seminars by some of the leading nature photographers including; George Lepp, John Shaw, Larry West, and John Gerlach. Photography is a continual learning experience.
I have traveled extensivly throughout the states including Hawaii and Alaska. Recently I traveled to Africa on a photo expidition. My images have been published widley in magazines and brochures.
Currently I am president of Twin City Camera Club which I have been a member for 33 years.
